Divinity is a type of sweet, fluffy candy that my grandfather, who was a farmer, was known for making. He made it for both of his daughters' weddings as well as for many, many Christmases. It is difficult to make because you have to have a "feel" for what it should be like as well as the weather can play a huge factor into it's success. My father has been known to make it, though not nearly as often as his father. And I, too, like to make divinity and it is what has influenced the name Divinity Confections.
Today I finished making some yummy cupcakes: vanilla with vanilla swiss butter cream frosting, devil's food chocolate with chocolate swiss butter cream frosting, and carrot with cream cheese frosting.
